Westway Project also organises public art works to transform and provide an identity to neglected areas. Mosaic and Murals are designed and made by residents and volunteers working with professional artists. The completed works are all located in public spaces.


 

These projects help to engage local culture and inspire community ownership, leading to fewer instances of graffiti and vandalism. Improved lighting adds presence to the artworks at night and is a contributing factor in reducing fear of crime and public safety concerns.
